As Chief Financial Officer, Laura McNeil is responsible for managing the organizations finances, including financial operations and planning, management of financial risks and cost recovery as a not-for-profit, and financial reporting to stakeholders, the Board of Directors and other members of the executive management team.
Laura joined IIROC in 2018 as Director, Finance Operations, was promoted to Vice-President, Finance in 2020, and appointed as Chief Financial Officer in 2021.
Before joining IIROC in 2018, Laura worked in Finance for Fortune 100/Fortune 500 broadly based healthcare companies, with progressive roles in financial planning and analysis, finance shared services and financial management. She also led an organizational change management team supporting a Canada-wide SAP deployment across five operating companies in three business sectors, six locations and more than a thousand users.
Laura holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
