Shenaz Jeraj is the Chief Information Officer for Capital Region Housing Corporation (Edmonton) responsible for their technology and digital direction. Previously Ms. Jeraj worked at Dow Chemical, IBM and carried out a number of consulting engagements, including at the Alberta Health Services (AHS) on a multi-year project where she was the Integration and Change Management Leader. Ms. Jeraj has an extensive career as a technology and management consultant, strategy and change consultant and information management.
Ms. Jeraj was a member of the University of Alberta’s Board Governors and continues as a member of the Audit and Risk Committee. Previously she was on the University Senate, Vice Chair of the Board, Chair of the Board Learning and Discoveries and member on the HR Compensation committee. Ms. Jeraj is a mentor at the Peter Lougheed Leadership College and an advisor at the Venture Mentoring Service, Alumni Association. Ms. Jeraj also served on the University Hospital Foundation, Board of Trustees, was a Judge for the Laurel Awards, a Sponsor and role model at WISEST, and served as President in Edmonton and then Vice President at Aga Khan Council for Canada.
Ms. Jeraj has a Bachelor of Science with a Specialization in Computing Science, from the University of Alberta. She received ICD.D certification from the Institute of Corporate Directors and is a Project Management Professional (PMP).
Ms. Jeraj is a member of IIROC’s Corporate Governance Committee and its Finance, Audit and Risk Committee.
