How do I get my money back? Understandably, this is the most important question for investors who believe they have lost money because an investment advisor or firm has acted improperly.

The first step for an investor who has a complaint is to complain directly to the firm’s management or compliance department.

If you’re not satisfied with your firm’s decision on your complaint, you still have other options to seek compensation.
