Statutes of Limitations

A lawyer can advise you of your options and recourses. You should be aware that there are legal time limits for taking legal action. Once the applicable limitation period expires, you may lose rights to pursue some claims. In Ontario, for example, cases of the nature described in this website could be subject to a limitation period of two years from the day you discovered (or should have discovered) the problem.
