Decision

Not all allegations of misconduct require a contested hearing to achieve a just result. IIROC may negotiate a settlement agreement with the subject of a regulatory investigation. A Hearing Panel must approve the settlement agreement which will contain a finding of a regulatory misconduct as well as a penalty.

The Hearing Panel issues Reasons for Decisions at the conclusion of the Hearing Process.
