Marketplace Specific Rules

Marketplace-Specific Rules are rules and policies specific to an exchange or Quotation and Trade Reporting System (QTRS) and govern trading activity on that marketplace. For instance, the Marketplace-Specific Rules on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and TSX Venture Exchange (TSX V) outline allocation rules for opening and post-opening trading, requirements for carrying on trading sessions, disclosure requirements for listed companies and requirements for take-over and issuer bids. Along with UMIR, IIROC may be retained to monitor and enforce compliance with Marketplace-Specific Rules.

The Marketplace-Specific Rules and accompanying policies of the TSXTSX V and CNSX can be viewed on their websites.
